Hope for Ethiopian Pupils e.V., a registered NGO in Germany, is committed to providing Ethiopian children and youth with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to succeed. From essential school materials to scholarships and mentorship programs, we help students overcome challenges and unlock their potential.
Our Story
Founded on February 15, 2021, by Esayas Dejene, an Ethiopian living in Germany, and Mr. Wolfgang Twardaw, a German citizen, Hope for Ethiopian Pupils e.V. was born out of a shared passion for empowering Ethiopian children and youth. Our founders recognized the significant challenges faced by students in Ethiopia—limited resources, financial barriers, and lack of mentorship—and decided to take action to bridge these gaps.
